VR is here

Got to try out the Oculus Rift and the controllers this week. What a mind-blowing experience! Super smooth motion, no jerks at all. You really feel you’re on another planet. If Google Cardboard is a baby, then this is the teenager.

Began with the base demo without controllers. That was similar to the Samsung Gear VR demo with the dinosaur. Then played the bullet time shooter on the train with the controllers. Truly awesome, though I kept throwing the controllers away! And lastly played in the multi-player toy box. Destruction galore, lower res experience but super interactive. Ping pong feels so natural it’s crazy.

I’m a convert. Can’t wait for the controllers to be released in December.
